New years eve celebration

I hope everyone is gearing up for a fun New Year's Eve!

My family is more of a stay-in kinda family rather than hitting the town.  We plan on ordering take out and then making some yummy homemade carmel popcorn in the evening.   We may even get crazy and go and see a movie in the early afternoon .... TALK about CRAZY! :)

Be sure to stop by the Little Scraps of Heaven Design team blog to see all the fabulous project my fellow teammates have shared for you on this fabulous Monday.  We'd love to see any wonderful creations that you have made this week to kick off the New Year.  Be sure to share them on the Little Scraps of Heaven Facebook Fanpage.  Also, be on the lookout because next week the LSHD DT is kicking off our challenges again.  There will be layout sketch challenges, card sketchs and much more.  Remember that you can't win if you don't enter!  I hope to see all of your creations soon!

To close out 2012 I've created this fun little New Year's Celebration card.

I've used the following items to create this card:
1. Paper piecing patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs - New Years Bears
2.  Twine from Trendy Twine - Orangesicle
3.  Clearsnap Colorbox Chalk inks
5. Solid Shimmer Cardstock from DCWV

I love snow! - Blog hop

Welcome to the I love snow Blog hop hosted by Honeybearz Designs!

If there ever were a time for snow ... this is it!  I can tell you that  .. at least here in Seattle .. there are no signs of snow at all.  It sure would be nice to see a flurry or two on the 24th and 25th though :)  A girl can dream right?

First and foremost, thank you for stopping by today.  We all lead such busy lives and I'm truly touched that you would take the time out of your day to stop by.  I hope that my project for the day inspires you to enjoy the snow .. or even make your own for the season! :)

If you have made it here from Sheila's blog, you are in the right place!  If you've stumbled upon me some other way and like to participate in the hop and see all the other fabulous creations (Not to mention a chance at the grand prize) please start at Lisa's blog .. you will make your way back to me.

Here is the lineup in case you get lost along the way..

For my project today I've created this two page pre-made scrapbook layout.
Don't let all the white fool you .. there are a TON of details on these 24 inches!

Lots of dimension to this layout

A close up of the snowflake mat.  Each has a pull out tag that has been stitched, wrapped in twine and embellished with a cute snowflake gem ornament.

A close up of the North Pole sign.  I kept this blank thinking it might be neat for the individual who purchases this to add their own personal touch by a special address, or North Pole address.

To create this layout I've used the following items:

Squeaky Clean

Today I'd like to share with  you a layout I made using patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
This is a layout that I created for this weeks DT blog post.

It seems that I never have enough pics of my boys in the tub.  They simply LOVE baths .. as most children do I think.  What's not to like about splishing and splashing for what seems like hours some nights in the tub?
