So here it is ... the last day of the hop ... really .... this time it is! Just think of yesterday's mistake (ME making the point that YESTERDAY was the last day of the hop when it actually WASN'T as your gain!!!). I sure hope that you all have enjoyed this hop as much as I did! Thank you to the team at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs for allowing me to be a part of this. It truly has been a great experience and I hope to continue to be involved in the future.
Now ... on to the last day of the hop ... REALLY ...
Welcome BACK to the very first Little Scraps of Heaven blog hop. If you have made it here from Inga's Blog you are on the right track. If not, please go to the beginning and start at Kristy's blog (Have no fear .. you will make it back here in due time!).
Thank you to all who have joined me this week. I truly appreciate your comments and hope that you will keep coming back for more even after the hop has completed. I promise that you will NOT be disappointed!

whew! I'm tired! :)
Now on to my Day 8 project ... and YES ... I did scramble to pull this one together. I totally admit it. I messed up, and I'm upset about it. I am a totally organized person! I promise I am. I probably drive some people crazy! I knew that the hop ended on March 2, but for some reason could not grasp the 8 day thing ... duh! But ... the good news is that I am here ... and I do in fact have a project to share. This project should show you that you too can pull something ... anything .. together in a few hours ... and it can even look great too!
Ok, so the goal of this project was to make a one page border that would span the top of the page. However I knew all along I was going to do a kite, so when I laid it out having the kite to the left of the bear seemed awkward, so I did something different ... I made a page border that would look great on the far left or far right of a double page layout.... don't ya think?
I was also thinking another awesome idea for this would be to turn in into a doorknob hanger. I like that. If I had a girl, that's where it would go. Too many pinks here for my boys!
I've used American Crafts Cardstock and Printed Cardstock on this project.
The Butterflies are something I picked up from my local Joann's and they are by Reflections.
I've used bakers twine for the Kite string.
The font I used here is "LD Red Hatters Hand" .. I'm really loving this one,
My signo white pen has been used for highlights, and I used my Pebbles, Inc. chalks to add dimension.
And last but not least, the bear paper piecing is from Little Scraps of Heaven and can be found HERE
